They say that you can't really move forward until you look back. Our past is quite simple and begins much like any family business does. In 1972, Riordan Electric Inc., an all-hands on deck electrical contracting company out of Dedham, MA was created by Paul Riordan Sr. After 20 years of hard-work and dedication, Paul Sr. decided to hang up his work boots once and for all and retire with his wife, Carolyn, passing his legacy of honesty, hard-work and integrity on to his two sons, Paul and Tim.
In 1992, Riordan Brothers Integration was born, transitioning the former business into the custom integration company you know today. From our beginnings as electrical contractors, we've tried to stay true to our core beliefs, which is to flawlessly integrate state-of-the-art technology into any space - home, hotel, restaurant, office, and beyond – all while focusing on an exceptional customer experience. As a team of master electricians, experienced technicians and certified programmers, we truly believe in the transformative power of technology and design, and its ability to not only simplify our day-to-day lives, but also help us become more energy efficient, create peace of mind and keep you connected to your family, friends and the world around you. Paul Riordan - Principal
Paul Riordan has been a proud owner of Riordan Brothers Integration since 1992. Paul remains actively involved in every project and has a keen eye for detail. Paul is a Crestron Silver Certified Programmer and considered a lighting control expert with over 20 years experience working with automated control systems. In his free time, he loves to travel with his wife, Kris, dropping into local Crossfit gyms and tossing the ball around with his 180-pound English Mastiff (and self-proclaimed lapdog), Thor.
Tim Riordan has been a proud owner of Riordan Brothers Integration since its inception in 1992. Tim's extensive technical knowledge encompasses all the products and services Riordan Brothers Integration provides. Tim is a master electrician with over 22 years of experience, as well as a Certified Technology Specialist (CTS), Certified Vantage Automation Programmer and Crestron DMC-E and DM-N certified. When he is not working on site at job, Tim enjoys travelling with his wife, Amy, and their two children, Tim and Abby. One of Tim's long-term goals is to own a fully restored 1968 Hemi Dodge Charger.
Hope Roth has over a decade of experience in the AV industry, with extensive experience in the higher education, commercial, and residential markets. She began her AV life as a technician, and now spends her days architecting and deploying large-scale automation programs. In 2016, Hope was the co-recipient of the InfoComm International (now Avixa) Harald Thiel Volunteer of the Year Award for her work with the Women of InfoComm Network (WIN) CTS study group. In 2017, she was an IMCCA Emerging Trend Fellow in the field of Control Systems. Hope has also led several Avixa webinars and classes.
Peter Bellone came to Riordan Brothers Integration after having worked at Crestron Electronics for 8 years as a Field Engineer/Programmer. While at Crestron, he worked on large-scale government projects, including the Pentagon and White House Executive Buildings. Peter has an extensive background in residential and commercial AV and lighting control. When he is not travelling for work, he calls the great state of New Jersey home.
Paul Riordan graduated from Framingham State University and has a passion for technology and electronics. Paul works closely with builders, designers and electricians to ensure the job exceeds the client's expectations.
Eric Smolak has been a proud member of the IBEW Local 103 Union since 2000. Eric is a strong believer in quality craftsmanship, innovative design and most of all, customer satisfaction.
Greg Gonski has been a loyal employee of Riordan Brothers Integration since 1992. Greg takes immense pride in his ability to meticulously execute all his installations insuring the client receives a highly-effective and organized system. In his free time, Greg loves to cheer on his favorite sports team, the Boston Bruins.
Abby Shafner graduated from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst' before starting her career as a one-of-a-kind Operations guru. Abby shines at managing Customer Service, Accounting and Purchasing. She keeps pristine billing records, has a can-do attitude and is responsible for managing the day to day company operations. When she is not working, Abby enjoys grueling gym workouts, skiing and in the summer, spending quality time at the beach.
